The Bolin R9-L420N 4K60 PTZ camera with 1-Inch Sensor is a professional broadcast PTZ camera designed for live production, sports coverage, studios, and high end AV installations where image quality and synchronization are critical. Built around a 1-inch 4K CMOS sensor, the R9-L420N delivers 4K resolution at up to 60fps along with 1080p up to 120fps, allowing producers to capture smooth motion, high detail imagery, and slow motion content for dynamic productions. A 20x zoom lens provides flexible framing from wide establishing shots to tight close ups while maintaining excellent clarity and color across a variety of lighting conditions. Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) enables fast and accurate focus adjustments, while the integrated LCD status screen provides operators with convenient on-camera monitoring of key system information. Engineered for modern broadcast and IP production environments, the R9-L420N integrates easily into both AV-over-IP and traditional baseband workflows. The camera supports NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX3, SRT, RTSP, and RTMP streaming, alongside dual 12G-SDI, Optical SDI, and HDMI outputs, giving production teams the flexibility to work across hybrid broadcast and network based infrastructures. 1 Inch 4K60 Image Sensor
The R9-L420N features a 1-inch Sony image sensor capable of capturing detailed 4K60 video. The larger sensor captures more light, improving image clarity, dynamic range, and color reproduction. This allows the camera to deliver high-resolution video with natural color and strong performance across a wide range of lighting conditions, making it well suited for demanding broadcast and live production environments.
PDAF Focus
Hybrid autofocus combines Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) with Contrast Detection Autofocus (CDAF) to deliver both fast focus acquisition and precise focus accuracy. PDAF quickly determines the direction and distance needed to reach focus, while CDAF fine-tunes the image for maximum sharpness. This allows the camera to lock onto subjects quickly and maintain reliable focus even during subject movement or rapid zoom changes.
Lip Sync Adjustment
The camera is factory calibrated to ensure audio and video remain properly synchronized out of the box. Built-in lip sync adjustment allows operators to fine-tune audio timing when external equipment introduces processing delays. This helps maintain natural alignment between sound and on-screen action, ensuring voices and movements remain properly matched throughout production.
Threaded Lens Filter Mount
A standard 77 mm threaded filter mount allows common screw-on filters to be attached directly to the lens. This enables the use of accessories such as ND filters, diffusion filters, or protective filters without requiring additional mounting hardware. By supporting widely available 77 mm filters, the camera can be easily adapted to different lighting conditions and creative production needs.
Built-In ND Filters
Four selectable ND filter stops are built directly into the camera, allowing operators to quickly reduce incoming light while maintaining the desired aperture and shutter settings. The mechanical ND system preserves image quality while providing precise exposure control in bright environments. This makes it easier to maintain consistent depth of field when filming under strong lighting conditions.
Timecode Synchronization
Built-in timecode support allows the camera to synchronize with other cameras and production equipment. By aligning timecode across devices, operators can maintain accurate timing during multi-camera productions and complex broadcast workflows. This ensures video and audio remain properly aligned while simplifying synchronization across the production system.
120FPS High Frame Rate
Support for up to 120 frames per second at 1080p allows fast action to be captured with greater smoothness and clarity. The higher frame rate provides additional motion detail and enables clean slow-motion playback when needed. This gives operators more flexibility when capturing fast-moving subjects while maintaining natural motion and image quality.
External USB Recording
Video can be recorded directly to external storage through the USB-C port. This allows operators to capture footage locally without requiring an external recorder or additional recording hardware. Direct USB recording provides a simple way to create backups or standalone recordings during production.
