Advanced PTZ Production Controller
Bolin's KBD Plus Advanced Production PTZ Controller is designed to provide precise, responsive control for professional PTZ camera systems used in broadcast, live production, houses of worship, corporate AV, and education environments. Built for modern IP-based production workflows, KBD Plus allows operators to control multiple cameras with accuracy and speed while maintaining clear visibility of video feeds and system status. At the center of the controller is a 4-inch touchscreen display that provides live camera monitoring, multiview capabilities, and quick access to camera control and system settings. The controller also includes a built-in video decoder, allowing operators to view up to 4 camera feeds directly on the controller. In addition, HDMI and USB-C (UVC) video outputs enable the decoded video feed to be sent to external monitors or connected directly to a computer as a webcam source, giving operators flexible monitoring and streaming options. KBD Plus supports a wide range of industry-standard control protocols, including VISCA over IP, NDI control, ONVIF, RS-232, and RS-422, Panasonic UE, and Canonc XC enabling compatibility with Bolin cameras as well as many third-party PTZ cameras used in professional production environments. Operators can manage multiple cameras, quickly recall presets, and make precise adjustments using the high precision joystick, zoom rocker, focus dial, and dedicated image adjustment controls. Additional features such as user-definable buttons, customizable control panels, and programmable presets allow operators to tailor the controller to their specific workflow and production environment. From multi-camera live productions to lecture capture and broadcast control rooms, the Bolin KBD Plus delivers intuitive PTZ control, integrated monitoring, and flexible connectivity, making it a powerful solution for modern PTZ camera operations.

Touchscreen Display
The responsive 4″ touchscreen provides quick access to camera control, live view, and system settings, while allowing operators to monitor multiple camera feeds in a multiview layout.
4-Channel Video Decoding
Decode up to four IP video streams simultaneously with low latency . This allows operators to view camera feeds while controlling PTZ movement and system functions.
AI Tracking
Built-in AI tracking allows the controller to automatically follow subjects by sending control commands to the camera. This enables tracking functionality even for cameras that do not have AI tracking built in. To be released in a future firmware update.

Dedicated dials provide direct control of key image parameters such as white balance and exposure, allowing operators to quickly fine-tune the camera’s image without navigating menus.
Zoom Rocker
The zoom rocker on the left side allows operators to adjust zoom while controlling camera movement with the joystick, enabling intuitive dual-hand operation during live production.
Focus Dial
Dedicated roll-axis control allows compatible Bolin cameras to rotate the image module for horizon correction, vertical video, or creative camera angles directly from the controller.
User-Definable Buttons
Assignable buttons and knobs allow operators to map commonly used functions for faster control and personalized workflows.
+ Panel
The + Panel opens an on-screen control panel with additional customizable buttons and functions, providing powerful flexibility to expand control and adapt the controller to specific workflows.

Recall cameras or presets instantly using keypad direct call or number entry followed by the call command.
Video Output
HDMI output allows decoded video to be displayed on external monitors in single-view or multiview layouts, while USB-C with UVC support enables the controller to function as a plug-and-play webcam for computers and software applications.
Control & Network Connections
Dedicated ports support RS-422 and RS-232 serial control, LAN with PoE+ for network connectivity and power, and Tally/GPIO interfaces for integration with external production systems.
Headphone Jack
The headphone jack allows operators to monitor audio directly from the controller during live production.
Security Slot
A security slot allows the controller to be secured with a compatible lock to help prevent theft in shared or public environments.
