Dante AV™ Camera Video Latency Test

Dante AV™ camera devices latency test equipment and environment

This test is conducted using Bolin DanteAV™ integrated PTZ camera and Bolin DanteAV Decoder.
■ Video source: D412 4K PTZ camera is set to 2160p60 at YUV 4:2:2 video output. Content is PC generated Stop Time at millisecond format.
■ Video source: D220 FHD PTZ camera is set to 1080p60 video output. Content is PC generated Stop Time at millisecond format.
■ Decoder: D10H with HDMI output.
■ Network switch/router: Netgear M4250 – 10G2F 10-Port Gigabit Managed Switch.
■ Monitor: Samsung U28E590D 28-Inch 4k UHD Monitor, 1ms response time

Result:
■ Latency on camera: 66ms
■ Latency on DanteAV Video Codec (Point-to-Point): 0.5 frame (e.g. 2160p @ 60 Hz latency is < 8 ms between encoder and decoder).
■ Overall latency may increase with varying network configurations.
