JOB DESCRIPTION

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product strategy and roadmap, product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
  • Collaborate closely with development/engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
  • Identify potential products; conduct market research; determine customers’ needs and desires by specifying the research needed, generate product and application requirements; determine specifications, industrial standards, and certificates; production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction; developing marketing strategies
  • Manage and perform testing and qualifying procedures in existing and new products with an in-depth understanding of the product.  Identify issues and propose improvements in both hardware and software.
  • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing industrial applications, product specifications, and requirements, appraising new product ideas, and/or product or packaging changes. Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
  • Track, monitor, report, and improve product performance
  • Create product requirements for the engineering and support teams to refine, improve, or enhance existing features and quality.
  • Identify the key benefits and value of products for marketing decisions. Collect product life cycle data and content creation including literature, datasheet, user guide, drawings, white paper, web updates, product training materials and sales training, product document, applications diagrams.
  • Introduce the company’s product or technology or product know-how knowledge to market by creating video, attending tradeshows, hosting webinars, briefing analysts and the press, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, etc. product marketing activities.
  • Promote the product to sales teams through sales training sessions, webinars, newsletters, and other mechanisms
  • Develop and deliver training to technical sales support and other internal/external product training.
  • Perform product demos to the market and audience and develop technical relationships with key clients.
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company’s product to competitors’ products. Analyzes market and competition data to create products to match and surpass current industry standards. Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation.
  • Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
  • Collect feedback from sales and customers to improve the product.

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information technology, or product design.
  • 3+ years of ProAV, broadcast, video industry experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, marketing, development.
  • Intermediate understanding of networks, networking technologies, configuration and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN client, IP streaming protocols such as Multicasting, Unicasting, RTSP, RTMP , etc. 
  • Excellent Communication Skills -including communicating with strictly business-minded people and with strictly technical-minded people, comfortable getting into deep technical discussions with engineers (and users) about the pros and cons of different approaches.
  • User-Centric Attitude- must be able to identify the technical aspects that can contribute to the user’s success.
  • System Thinker- must have experience determining the best course of action based on the whole picture.
  • Strong Business Acumen, the ability to understand company strategy and economic drivers.

We are looking for a motivated senior level Sales Manager for EMEA & APAC markets. Candidate will create and support new sales partners in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia and will be required to work during Europe and Asia daytime hours.

  • Identify and develop new channel sales partners in EMEA and APAC territories
  • Proactively develop sales strategies and tactics to increase brand value in EMEA territories

Bolin Technology is a manufacturer of professional grade PTZ cameras for Pro AV, Broadcast and Surveillance markets. We are seeking a highly motivated salesperson with 3 years in Pro AV cameras sales experience.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ideal candidate must have a strong background in the following areas:
  • Develop and maintain new and existing customer accounts
  • Fully understand and deliver product information to customers
  • Provide technical product knowledge documents related to hardware, software, configuration and application.
